(CC: 3 things you shouldn’t do if you want to get more educated on anti-racism:

Number one – do not feel guilty. Ok, I understand that if you find out that your grandfather or father took part in the slave trade, that would make you very self-conscious. But don’t feel guilty. Just accept it. And don’t try to feel less guilty by talking to black people or other ethnic minorities to make you feel better.

Number two – now, learning about anti-racism is such an important task. But don’t let it put too much pressure on you. You can learn anti-racism by having fun. Either reading books or watching films – I recommend both!

Three – have these conversations with the people around you. Call racism out! Do not be afraid of it. It’s by having those conversations that you will slowly change things around you.”)
