Mindful Direct Action, Part 2

The Buddhist teachings of karma tells us, with great and I do not think misplaced confidence, that good actions bring good results, bad actions bad results, and that the network of good-bad causality is so vast, no one (and no computer model) can encompass it. So we do not and cannot know what will happen in the future. But we have confidence that good is good, and that, as Buddhist practitioners who follow a teaching that emphasizes compassion, we must do good and avoid doing bad, for good brings benefit to others, and bad causes them harm.
