Watching Your Thoughts

If you can watch [your] thoughts . . . then it’s like watching television. You are not in the television, you are watching it. It’s like standing at the edge of a river without falling into the current. You are watching your inner television, but remaining on the outside. There is a big screen, and there are many different channels. There are only two problems: The programs are quite old, and there are a lot of reruns.
