The True Master

Editor’s note: The Dhammapada is a collection of sayings by the Buddha; thus these sayings took place in India, 563 — 483 B.C.E., at a time when the caste system prevailed. Could this saying by the Buddha have been directed, in part to, to the “untouchables” and members of other “lower” castes?
