The Yoga of Devotion

For the yogi there are two meaningful truths, closely intertwined with each other, that each serios practitioner must contemplate and take to her heart.
The first one of these meaningful truths is that the reality in which a yogi lives is never impersonal.
The second one of these meaningful truths is that the path of yoga is inclusive.
In this way, the path of yoga invites all and bars no one from participation. It both accepts and celebrates the individuality of those who have given themselves to it.
And just as there are innumerable individuals, there are innumerable points from which different individuals will embark upon their journey. Some, having an earlier predisposition, will quickly move towards the high-end of the yogic ladder, whereas those who are only beginning their ascent will aim for the lower steps. But regardless of the position one starts from , one will without question be able to move forward with all possible restraints dissolving and disappearing.
It is of little consequence from which step the yogi starts. What alone is important is the direction in which she is moving. In this way the sincere yogi proceeds towards that destination from which she never will have to return.
