Wonder of Wonders!

Thereafter, Gautama devoted himself exclusively for six years and eventually, on the morning of the eighth of December, at the very instant  when he glanced at the planet Venus gleaming in the eastern sky, he attained perfect enlightenment . . . These words the Buddha uttered involuntarily . . .
“Wonder of wonders! Intrinsically all living beings are Buddhas, endowed with wisdom and virtue, but because people’s minds are inverted through delusive thinking, they fail to perceive this.”
