Redeeming the Sacred Feminine; An Evening of Poetry, Song, Music, and
Meditation
Join Kit West, Leonore Hildebrandt, and Delia DeVer (with a cameo musical appearance by Yaakov Finer) as we invite and praise the nourishing, powerful energy of the divine feminine in the name of returning balance to our world.
Katherine (Kit) West will read a historical, narrative poem about Queen Guinevere, a priestess-queen who guided her knights to the underworld where they were cleansed and made ready for spiritual battle.
Leonore Hildebrandt will read poetry about the mother-energy found in nature, and the complexity, wonder and inspiration of our relationship with that energy.
Delia DeVer will sing original songs about the sacred feminine; she will also lead us in a meditation arising from this aspect of the divine.
Both Kit West and Leonore Hildebrandt will offer hand-crafted chapbooks of the poems read at the celebration.
