A Doorway to the Openness of Being (4/5)

In the teachings of dzogchen, it is said that through thought we will never understand the truth. No matter how smart the conceptual mind is, it can never grasp the truth of being. Access to the source is not through thought but through nonconceptual, naked awareness. It is not about looking at the sky and thinking about what is right for your life at this time. It is about drawing your attention to the sky and letting it rest there for 15 minutes. The sky will give you more answers than any thoughts could. Resting your mind on that simple support—the openness of the sky—will bring more clarity than repeating What should I do? over and over again.
