NEEDED: Two Plant Angels!

Hello, everyone!

Regarding the aesthetic of our Lotus Center, no feature receives more compliments than our indoor plants and flowers. In the reception area, in the movement room, and in the back foyer, our foliage really does add health and vitality to our space.

The main caregiver, nurse, and guardian of our plants is our beloved Deborah Van Buren. Happily, Deborah and her husband Arnold have been appointed camp hosts at a campground at Lake Roberts, NM. Deborah’s camp host assignment begins next week (gulp!), and will last 2 or 3 months (and perhaps longer (but perhaps not)). As such, we are looking for two people to team up as substitute plant caregivers in Deborah’s absence. Please note that this caregiving opportunity involves indoor plants only (i.e., not the outdoor plants on the back patio) and the watering/sprucing up takes a little over an hour, once a week, for one person.

This is a wonderful opportunity to be of service to our plant-beings and the Lotus Center community who benefits from their presence in our space. If you’re interested in stepping into (on a temporary basis) this fun, gratifying role, please call Jeff at (575) 313-4087.

Thank you for supporting our non-profit, community-owned Lotus Center.
