Don’t Forget: Form is Empty, but Emptiness is Also Form

Form is sacred. The form of the oak leaf sets it apart. It communicates what it is. We know what the oak leaf is for because of its form. Not because of the emptiness of it. The form is part of its distinct medicine. The catalog of worldly medicines in all their forms is important. It’s how we navigate this living world. Each form is a reflection of the pattern of creation, and is sacred not only in that it is reflective of the whole, but sacred in its part and its way, and worthy of its own altar of respect and reverence.
