The Way Home by Lawrence Weiss

The Way Home

in mirrored realities
love begets love
and negativity creates fear
old and tired of memories
yet large enough to contain opposites
hormones fluctuate wildly
dissolving into myriad events, disappointments,
hopes and fantasies

yet there are guideposts
as we remember the way home
past the yellow of dying leaves
to the green of new beginnings
a widening road
uncluttered by fear
and transformed by the magic
of life inexplicable
heart led
and malleable as clay

Lawrence Weiss
