When we have fully integrated the Buddha Way, we don’t need rules, shoulds, dos, and don’ts, and in this way we are unable to act unskillfully. We are just responding to the current situation, which includes the well-being of every aspect of that situation. This is the Bodhi-mind’s response. It is when we insert our clinging and need to force a certain outcome that difficulties arise.
