Early Bird Registration for Nonviolent Communication Training is Now Open

The Challenge

For many of us, our world feels more volatile than ever. Political, social, and economic conditions – and dialog – seem more intense and polarized like never before. Many of us wonder what we, individually, can do to bridge the gap of our disparate views, to invite more civil exchanges, to facilitate understanding, and to heal.

Now more than ever, our world needs nonviolent communication.

An important nonviolent communication workshop — to be led by Karen Starz, International Trainer for the Center for Nonviolent Communication — will be held the weekend of November 11 – 13. Registration for the training is now open at NVC Weekend Workshop with Karen Starz. Complete information on the training is available at the same address.

We hope you will join us helping to use our language as a tool for peace.

NOTE: This nonviolent communication training is being sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Silver City and Lotus Center.

Our Vision:

Our vision is to see peace in southwest New Mexico, and the world.

We believe that each of us, individually, is best able to create peace in our world, in our community, and in our families, by first creating peace within ourselves.

Lotus Center is a place of healing where all people are welcome to deepen their sense of peace through love and service.  Our commitment is to offer this space to anyone and everyone seeking peace from within.
